Additional Incentives and Disincentives. HHSC will evaluate all performance-based incentives and disincentive methodologies annually and in consultation with the MCOs. HHSC may then modify the methodologies as needed, as funds become available, or as mandated by court decree, statute, or rule, in an effort to motivate, recognize, and reward MCOs for performance. Information about the data collection period to be used, performance indicators selected or developed, or MCO ranking methodologies used for any specific time period will be found in the Uniform Managed Care Manual.
