Common use of Additional Interconnection in Existing LATAs Clause in Contracts

Additional Interconnection in Existing LATAs. If Requesting Carrier deploys additional switches in a LATA after the Effective Date or otherwise wishes to establish Interconnection with additional Ameritech Central Offices, Requesting Carrier shall be entitled, upon written notice thereof to Ameritech, to establish such Interconnection and the terms and conditions of this Agreement shall apply to such Interconnection. If Ameritech deploys additional switches in a LATA after the Effective Date\ or otherwise wishes to establish Interconnection with additional Requesting Carrier Central Offices, Ameritech shall be entitled, upon written notice thereof to Requesting Carrier, to establish such Interconnection and the terms and conditions of this Agreement shall apply to such Interconnection. If either Party establishes an additional Tandem Switch in a given LATA, the Parties shall jointly determine the requirements regarding the establishment and maintenance of separate trunk group connections and the sub-tending arrangements relating to Tandem Switches and End Offices which serve the other Party's Customers within the Exchange Areas served by such Tandem Switches.
