Additional Scheduled Time. 1. All Buildings 2. For all buildings, the Wednesday meetings shall include: Four (4) Wednesdays of District Provided Professional Development 1-hour PD meetings. Eight (8) Wednesday staff meetings, totaling 8 hours will be released to staff for potential online learning through MDE approved programs or for other pre-approved Professional Development of the staff members choosing. These are optional hours that staff members may use to work on their state required 30 hours of Professional Development, if needed. In addition to the scheduled time detailed above, all staff (elementary, middle school and high school) may be required to attend meetings of the special education team. Occasional building, grade level or district in-services will be scheduled. When these in-services are scheduled, they will not generally go beyond 4:30 p.m. An effort will be made to schedule such in-services on Wednesdays when feasible.
