Common use of Additional Stock Option Grants Clause in Contracts

Additional Stock Option Grants. Executive will receive an additional grant of stock options as of December 21, 1999, in the amount of shares designated in the inSilicon Option Memo issued to Executive, at $7.36 per share. These options will vest ratably over a four-year term and expire on December 21, 2009. In addition, Executive will be entitled to receive future annual grants of options during the term of this Agreement at the discretion of the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.

Key Executive will receive an additional grant of stock options as of December 21, 1999, in the amount of 60,000 shares designated in the inSilicon Option Memo issued to Executive, at $7.36 per share. These options will vest ratably over a four-year term on December 31, 2003, except for performance accelerations to be documented separately, and expire on December 21, 2009. In addition, Key Executive will be entitled to receive future annual grants of options during the term of this Agreement at the discretion of the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
