Additional Training Requirement. 1. A Member of the Bargaining Unit who is assigned to teach one (1) or more classes in a Subject Area may be required to undertake a program of activities directly related to the Subject Area of said assignment in order to update his/her knowledge in said Subject Area unless s/he meets one of the following two (2) conditions, in which case the requirement shall be waived:
