Common use of Adherence to Law Clause in Contracts

Adherence to Law. If any provision of this Agreement or any application thereof to any teacher or group of teachers is held to be contrary to law, then such provision or application will not be deemed valid and subsisting, except to the extent permitted by law, but all other provisions of the Agreement in its entirety or applications will continue in full force and effect. The parties will meet not later than fifteen (15) days after such holding for the purpose of renegotiating the provision(s) affected.
