Common use of Adjustment to Calendar Clause in Contracts

Adjustment to Calendar. The Board, upon recommendation of the Superintendent, may adjust the above guideline in an emergency situation, energy situation and/or impact from mandated changes as required by Federal, State and/or local laws and/or regulations. Written notification will be given to the President of the Association under such circumstances. Days in excess of 183 (188 for first-year teachers) will be compensated at per diem rates on the basis of 1/183 of scheduled salary.
