Common use of Adjustments for Company Service Clause in Contracts

Adjustments for Company Service. As a part of each periodic retention index review, and immediately following completion of the distribution procedure set forth in 8.4(d), adjusted retention ratings will be assigned in compliance with the following: Employees with twenty (20) or more years of Company service whose assigned retention rating is R3 will be given an adjusted retention rating of R2. Employees with thirty (30) or more years of Company service whose assigned retention rating is R2 will be given an adjusted retention rating of R1. Such adjustments will be reflected in the written notification to each employee described in 8.4(g). (Employees who reach the aforementioned Company service dates between periodic retention index reviews will receive an adjusted retention rating accordingly.) Employees may elect to temporarily waive any service adjustment by sending a digitally signed email to their Skill Captain stating their desire to waive their adjusted rating.
