Adjustments for Lengthy Graduate Programs. In the event a Master’s degree program requires more than 36 hours for completion, those hours earned in excess of that number shall be eligible for application toward the MS + 15 column. Extraneous graduate hours (those not included in the program) shall not be allowed unless earned after the conferring of the degree. Any professional employee that believes he/she may be eligible for this provision should submit his/her transcripts and relevant documentation to the Director for analysis.
