Common use of Administration of Anesthetics Clause in Contracts

Administration of Anesthetics. The administration of anesthetics, except local infiltration anesthetic, other than in a Hospital in connection with surgical or obstetrical services for which benefits are provided under the Plan, when administered and billed by a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist or a Physician (other than the operating surgeon or his or her assistant) who is not an employee of, nor compensated by, a Hospital, laboratory or other institution.
