Common use of Administrative Transfer Procedures Clause in Contracts

Administrative Transfer Procedures. An administrative (involuntary) transfer may occur to meet instructional or operational needs but such transfer shall be limited to a school within the same Local District as the employee's prior school or to a school within ten (10) miles of the employee's prior school. An employee who is being transferred administratively shall, upon request, be entitled to a consultation with the responsible administrator prior to the transfer in order to discuss the reasons for the transfer and to provide an opportunity for the administrator to hear and consider the employee's views on the matter. The employee may be represented by the Union at this consultation if he/she so requests. LEAVES OF ABSENCE‌‌
