Adopted Curriculum Clause Samples
The Adopted Curriculum clause defines the specific educational materials, courses, or programs that an institution or organization formally selects for use in its instructional activities. This clause typically outlines the scope of the curriculum, including which textbooks, digital resources, or syllabi are approved for teaching, and may specify procedures for updating or changing the curriculum. Its core practical function is to ensure consistency and quality in educational delivery by clearly identifying the authorized content to be used, thereby reducing confusion and maintaining academic standards.
Adopted Curriculum. Any new curriculum will go through a process involving input from staff who teach the applicable subject. Once a curriculum is District-adopted, materials will be provided to all staff expected to teach it, including special education staff and alternative learning experience staff. If training in the newly adopted curriculum is offered by the District, it will be offered to all staff expected to teach it, including special education staff and alternative learning experience staff.
Adopted Curriculum. All District adopted curriculum documents shall be available in both the principal’s office and in the staff room of each building. The Port ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ School District and the Port ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Education Association recognize the importance of working together to focus professional practice in the District on the State-adopted Common core Standards (CCSS). Additionally, the same professional focus will be applied to the newly adopted Next Generation of Science Standards (NGSS).
