Advances in the Budget. The Fire Department may request an advance from each City for a payment not yet due, but at no point shall the total annual payments made to the Fire Department by each City exceed its portion of the amount of the Budget, unless approved by both City Councils. Each City agrees to pay such advance within 30 days of the request.
