Common use of Affected Party Clause in Contracts

Affected Party. If either Party is affected by any Force Majeure Event (the Affected Party) and wishes to claim the benefit of this Clause 10, it must as soon as reasonably practicable after the occurrence of the Force Majeure Event: notify the other Party in writing of the nature and extent of the Force Majeure Event (including the date of its occurrence and its likely duration); and resume performance of this Framework Agreement.
