Common use of Affiliate Clause in Contracts

Affiliate. With respect to any Person, any other Person controlling, controlled by or under common control with such Person, with "control" for such purpose meaning the possession, directly or indirectly, of the power to direct or cause the direction of the management and policies of a Person, whether through the ownership of voting securities or voting interests, by contract or otherwise.
