Common use of AG Account Clause in Contracts

AG Account. 7.01 AG Account Guaranteed Interest Rate - All amounts allocated to the AG Account earn a rate of interest that is guaranteed for a specified period of time. The rate will be credited daily and will never be less than the minimum guaranteed interest rate shown on the Contract Schedule. We determine the rate and it is not based on investment experience. For guaranteed terms of one year or less, one guaranteed interest rate is credited for the full guaranteed term. For longer guaranteed terms, an initial guaranteed interest rate is credited from the date of deposit to the end of a specified period within the guaranteed term. There may be different guaranteed interest rate(s) declared for subsequent specified time intervals throughout the guaranteed term.
