Age shall under no circumstances be a basis for the rejection of an otherwise qualified applicant for em­ ployment, nor shall age to be a ground for the termi­ nation of employment of an otherwise qualified employee, except in cases where a company has a retirement plan and the employee has reached the mandatory retirement age as provided for in such plan.
