AGENCY SECURITY. Continuous and uninterrupted service by the CITY and its employees to the citizens, and orderly employee relations between the CITY and its EMPLOYEES being essential considerations of this MOU, the ECPOAMG agrees, on behalf of itself and its members, individually and collectively, that there shall not be any strikes, boycotting, work stoppages, shutdowns, or slowdown-speed-up actions, or a concerted refusal to render services or to work overtime or any other curtailment, restriction or acceleration of work at any time during the term of this MOU. Nothing shall be construed in this MOU to prevent the ECPOAMG or the EMPLOYEES from exercising any legal rights prescribed by Federal or State Law.

AGENCY SECURITY. 5.1 The Employer and the Union agree they will not discriminate against any employee because the Employee voluntarily chooses to be a member of the Union or to otherwise pay fees to the Union for bargaining and defending the Collective Bargaining Agreement; nor will the Employer of the Union discriminate against any Employee who chooses not to be a member of, or to pay dues/fees to the Union.
AGENCY SECURITY. Pursuant to AB 119, the City acknowledges and will comply with Sections 3555-3559 of the Government Code.   • Agency Shop It is mutually agreed by the parties that this Unit is an agency shop Unit. It is the intent of the parties that the agency shop provisions in the Memorandum of Understanding comply with applicable state law (Government Code Section 3502.5).

  • AGENCY SERVICE FEE Section 1. Each employee who elects not to join or maintain membership in the Union shall be required to pay as a condition of employment, beginning thirty (30) days following the commencement of his/her employment, an agency service fee to the Union in an amount that is equal to the amount required to become and remain a member in good standing of the exclusive bargaining agent.
