Common use of Aggregation of periods of insurance Clause in Contracts

Aggregation of periods of insurance. Where a worker has been continuously or non continuously subject to the legislation of both Contracting States, the periods of insurance completed under the legislation of each Contracting State shall be taken into account, to the extent necessary, by the other Contracting State for the acquisition, retention or recovery of the right to benefits provided for in this chapter as if they have been completed under its legislation, insofar as they do not overlap.
