Common use of Agreement to Pay Taxes Clause in Contracts

Agreement to Pay Taxes. Redeveloper agrees to pay all real property taxes levied upon the Project Site and Private Improvements prior to the times such taxes become delinquent. This contractual obligation to pay such taxes prior to delinquency on the part of Redeveloper shall cease upon expiration of the Tax Increment Period, but the City in no way waives the statutory obligation of Redeveloper to continue to pay real estate taxes.
