Common use of Allegion Workers’ and Unemployment Compensation Clause in Contracts

Allegion Workers’ and Unemployment Compensation. Effective as of the Effective Time, the Allegion Entity employing each Allegion Group Employee shall have (and, to the extent it has not previously had such obligations, such Allegion Entity shall assume) the obligations for all claims and Liabilities relating to workers’ compensation and unemployment compensation benefits for all Allegion Group Employees employed by that Allegion Entity and for Former Allegion Group Employees relating to that Allegion Entity. Effective as of the Effective Time, Allegion, acting through the Allegion Group Entity employing each Allegion Group Employee, will be responsible for (a) obtaining workers’ compensation insurance, including providing all collateral required by the insurance carriers and (b) establishing new or transferred unemployment insurance employer accounts, policies and claims handling contracts with the applicable government agencies.
