Common use of Amendment and Relocation of Claims Clause in Contracts

Amendment and Relocation of Claims. Lessee shall have the right to amend or relocate in the name of Lessor any of the unpatented mining claims subject to this Agreement, which Lessee deems advisable to so amend or relocate. Lessor appoints Lessee as Lessor’s lawful Attorney In Fact for the purpose of the location, amendment or relocation of any such claims. All amended or new locations shall be part of the mining claims subject to this Agreement, and the parties will promptly, after amendment or location of such claims, execute and deliver an addendum to this Agreement, and an amended memorandum of this Agreement to such effect.
