Common use of An E-Verify Clause in Contracts

An E-Verify. Employer Agent for an Employer that is a Federal contractor may terminate this MOU for that Employer when the Federal contract that requires its participation in E-Verify is terminated or completed. In such cases, the E-Verify Employer Agent must provide written notice to DHS. If the E-Verify Employer Agent fails to provide such notice, then that Employer will remain an E-Verify participant, will remain bound by the terms of this MOU that apply to non-Federal contractor participants, and will be required to use the E-Verify procedures to verify the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees.
