Common use of An Elected Official Clause in Contracts

An Elected Official. Department Director may post notice of job vacancy to the general public. In general, such notice shall be posted for a minimum of five (5) working days before filling job vacancy. The Employer agrees to encourage all Elected Officials/Department Directors to utilize the promotion or internal posting procedures prior to public recruitment whenever possible.
