Common use of An employee who transfers to a different position at the request of the Employer Clause in Contracts

An employee who transfers to a different position at the request of the Employer. shall not suffer a reduction in salary. Future salary adjustments will be determined by the position of the employee’s salary in the salary range for the new position. When an employee transfers to a lower level position at her/his own request s/he will be paid at her/his present salary or at the job rate of the lower position, whichever is less. When an employee transfers to another position at the same level as a result of a job competition there will be no change in the employee’s salary as a result of that transfer.
