Common use of Annexation Clause in Contracts

The Corporate Authorities agree to annex said tract subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement, when properly and effectively requested to do so, by submission of a legally sufficient petition from the Owner, by enacting such ordinances as may be necessary and sufficient to legally and validly annex said tract to the City.
