Announcement Made Clause Samples

The "Announcement Made" clause governs how and when parties to an agreement may make public statements or announcements regarding the contract or their relationship. Typically, this clause requires that any press releases, public disclosures, or announcements be approved in advance by the other party, or that certain information remain confidential unless mutually agreed upon. Its core practical function is to control the flow of information to the public, protecting sensitive business interests and ensuring that both parties present a unified message, thereby preventing misunderstandings or reputational harm.
