Common use of Annual Appropriations Clause in Contracts

Annual Appropriations. The Contractor acknowledges that during any fiscal year, the City shall not expend money, incur any liability, or enter into any Agreement which, by its terms, involves the expenditure of money in excess of the amounts budgeted as available for expenditure during such fiscal year. Any Agreement, verbal or written, the City may enter into in violation of this fiscal limitation is null and void, and no money shall be paid on such Agreement.
