Common use of Annual "Plain Clothes" and Equipment Allowance Clause in Contracts

Annual "Plain Clothes" and Equipment Allowance. Each plain clothes member, after the initial year of service in the Community Impact Unit or Detective Bureau, shall receive an annual allowance in the amount of $1000 payable in two (2) semi-annual installments. The first semi-annual payment shall be made on either the following March 30 or September 30, whichever next follows the member's first anniversary date of plain clothes assignment. Thereafter, these semi-annual payments shall be made on March 30 and September 30 of each calendar year.
