Common use of Anonymity of Appeals Clause in Contracts

Anonymity of Appeals. In the event that the Candidate desires to appeal a decision made by The Open Group or the Peer Review Board by invoking the appeals process defined in the Certification Policy and wants the appeal to be anonymous, the Certification Authority will facilitate an anonymous review on behalf of the Candidate according to the Certification Policy.

In the event that the Candidate Affiliate desires to appeal a decision made by The Open Group or the Peer Review Board Certification Authority by invoking the appeals process defined in the Certification Policy Accreditation Policy, and wants wishes the appeal to be anonymous, the Certification Authority will facilitate an anonymous review on behalf of the Candidate according Affiliate. The Affiliate is responsible for maintaining its anonymity in all material submitted to the Certification PolicyAuthority in support of its appeal.
