Common use of Appeal to Arbitration Board Clause in Contracts

Appeal to Arbitration Board. If the National Union refers the matter to the Arbitration Board, it shall prepare a record which shall consist of the original written grievance prepared by the Xxxxxxx / Committeeperson and the written answers to the grievance and such other written records as there may be in connection with the matter and forward the same to the Director of Labour Relations and Labour Economics of the Company, together with a notice that the answer of the representative with respect to that grievance is not satisfactory to the Union. The matter, if within the power and authority of the Arbitration Board as provided in Section (3.4), may then be submitted to the Arbitration Board for final disposition, such disposition to be made within thirty (30) days of the submission.
