Common use of Appealable Actions Clause in Contracts

Appealable Actions. This procedure may be used when an employee whose classification is listed in (I) above alleges one of the following actions has occurred and the employee wishes to appeal under Government Code Section 3300 et seq.: A. Receipt of a written reprimand. B. Reduction in salary through an action taken that is not appealable under Personnel Rule 10. C. Denial of promotion on grounds other than merit. D. Reassignment for purposes of punishment.
