Applicable Law This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York applicable to contracts made and to be performed within the State of New York.
Applicable Laws The Contractor agrees to conduct all activities under this Agreement in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, directives, standards, ordinances, and laws, in effect or promulgated during the term of this Agreement, including without limitation, workers’ compensation laws, minimum and maximum salary and wage statutes and regulations, and licensing laws and regulations. When required, the Contractor shall furnish H-GAC with satisfactory proof of its compliance therewith.
Legal Requirements All applicable Federal and State laws and County ordinances that in any manner affect the items covered herein apply. Lack of knowledge by the Bidder shall in no way be a cause for relief from responsibility. A. Contractors doing business with the County are prohibited from discriminating against any employees, applicant, or client because of race, religion, color, disability, national origin, gender, or age with regard to but not limited to the following: employment practices, rates of pay or other compensation methods, and training selection. B. Businesses wishing to participate in the County procurement process as an Orange County Certified M/WBE firm are required to complete a certification application to attain recognition as such. JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW The Training Programme and the Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed under Belgian law.
