Applicant Commitment to Comply with Laws. The Applicant represents and warrants that, with respect to the Project and its performance under this Investment Agreement: (a) it is aware of and will comply with all Applicable Laws, Including all applicable Anti-Bribery, Anti- Corruption and Sanctions Laws and Export Control Laws; (b) it will not use any of the Investment, or any deliverables, products or outcomes arising from the Project including Intellectual Property, for the benefit or advantage (directly or indirectly) of any Person with whom dealings are prohibited by any applicable Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption and Sanctions Laws or Export Control Laws; and (c) it is not presently aware of any request from any Person to utilize the Investment or the anticipated outcome of the Project Including Intellectual Property in a manner prohibited by any applicable Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption and Sanctions Laws or Export Control Laws, and it shall immediately advise Alberta Innovates should such request materialize, both during and after the Term of this Investment Agreement.
