Therefore, it is recognized that there may be unforeseen, and unusual or extenuating circumstances that cannot be sufficiently articulated within the scope of this Article. In such cases, the College may bypass the normal progression of corrective actions in order to take advantage of its maximum ability to take appropriate action. Normally, corrective action related to conduct, behavior or performance dating back more than eighteen (18) months will not be considered in progressive corrective action, except where there is an identifiable pattern of similar conduct, behavior or job performance.
