Common use of Appointment and Acceptance of Reinsurance Manager Clause in Contracts

Appointment and Acceptance of Reinsurance Manager. Parent, on behalf of itself and its subsidiaries, hereby appoints the Reinsurance Manager to undertake the duties normally performed by a reinsurance manager with full power and authority (subject to the Underwriting Guidelines, the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the oversight of the boards of directors of Parent and its subsidiaries and the Applicable Requirements) to act as reinsurance manager for Blue Capital Re, and the Reinsurance Manager hereby accepts such appointment.
