Common use of Appointment and Grant of Authority Clause in Contracts

Appointment and Grant of Authority. Each of the Lenders hereby appoints Fleet National Bank and Fleet National Bank hereby agrees to act as, the Agent under this Agreement, the Notes and the other Loan Documents. As such Agent, Fleet National Bank shall have and may exercise such powers under this Agreement and the other Loan Documents as are specificallydelegated to the Agent, by the terms hereto or thereof, together with such other powers as are incidental thereto. Without limiting the foregoing, the Agent, on behalf of the Lenders, is authorized to execute all of the Loan Documents (other than this Agreement) and to accept all of the Loan Documents and all other agreements, documents or instruments reasonably required to carry out the intent of the parties to this Agreement.
