Appointment as Foreign Custody Manager. (a) Each Fund hereby delegates to the Custodian, subject to Rule 17f-5(b) under the 1940 Act, the responsibilities with respect to the Foreign Assets that are delivered to the Custodian at any time during the period of this Agreement, and the Custodian hereby accepts such delegation as Foreign Custody Manager for such Foreign Assets with respect to a Fund and any Subsidiary, except with respect to such country or countries in which the Custodian shall advise a Fund that it does not accept such delegation.
