Common use of Appointment of Subprocessors Clause in Contracts

Appointment of Subprocessors. Customer provides general consent to Processor to use of Subprocessors. Customer acknowledges and agrees that (a) Processor’s Affiliates may be retained as Subprocessors; and (b) Processor and its Affiliates respectively may engage third-party Subprocessors in connection with the provision of the Services. Processor or its Affiliate(s) have entered into a written agreement with each Subprocessor containing data protection obligations not less protective than those in this DPA with respect to the protection of Personal Data to the extent applicable to the nature of the Services provided by such Subprocessor. Processor shall remain fully responsible to Customer for the performance of its Subprocessors in accordance with this DPA.

Processor shall remain fully responsible to Customer the Controller for the performance of its Subprocessors Subprocessors’ obligations in accordance with this DPAits contract with the Processor.
