Common use of APPOINTMENT, RESIGNATION, REMOVAL AND SUCCESSION Clause in Contracts

APPOINTMENT, RESIGNATION, REMOVAL AND SUCCESSION. The Sponsoring Employer will serve as the Administrator, unless the Sponsoring Employer elects in the Adoption Agreement to appoint another Administrator. Each Administrator that is appointed will continue until his death, resignation, or removal, and any Administrator may resign by giving 30 days written notice to the Sponsoring Employer. If an Administrator dies, resigns, or is removed, his successor will be appointed as promptly as possible, and such appointment will become effective upon its acceptance in writing by such successor. Pending the appointment and acceptance of any successor Administrator, any then acting or remaining Administrator will have full power to act.
