Common use of Apportionment of Rent Clause in Contracts

Apportionment of Rent. In the event of termination of this Lease pursuant to this PART 13, then all Rent shall be apportioned and paid to the date on which possession is relinquished or the date of such damage, whichever last occurs, and Tenant shall immediately vacate the Premises according to such notice of termination; provided, however, that those provisions of this Lease which are designated to cover matters of termination and the period thereafter shall survive the termination hereof.
