Common use of Apprenticeship ratio Clause in Contracts

Apprenticeship ratio. When available, one (1) apprentice will be allowed to each Employer working up to two (2) journeyperson carpenters and one (1) additional apprentice to each two (2) additional journeyperson carpenters working on the job. The Union and Employer recognize that by mutual consent, on certain portions of a project, the ratio could be altered to utilize a higher ratio of apprentice to journeyperson.
