Approval of Foreign Sub-custodians Sample Clauses

Approval of Foreign Sub-custodians. Unless and except to the extent that the Trust has requested and the Custodian has accepted delegation of the appointment of Sub-custodians, the Custodian shall, prior to the appointment of any Sub-custodian for purposes of holding Investments of the Trust or its Funds outside the United States, obtain written confirmation of the approval of the Trust with respect to the identity of such Sub-custodian, such approval to be signed by an Authorized Person. A Written Instruction to open an account in a given country shall comprise authorization by the Trust for the Custodian to hold assets in such country in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. The Sub-custodian shall not be required to make independent inquiry as to the authorization of the Trust or its Fund to invest in such country.
