Common use of Approval of Sub-Contractors Clause in Contracts

Approval of Sub-Contractors. Subject to clauses 59.2 (Restrictions on Transfer of this Contract by the Contractor) and 59.4 (Contractor's Obligations), nothing in this Contract shall prohibit the Contractor from providing or procuring provision of the Services from a Sub-Contractor having the legal capacity, power and authority to become a party to and perform the obligations of the relevant Sub-Contract and employing persons having the appropriate qualifications, experience and technical competence and having the resources available to it which are sufficient to enable it to perform the obligations of the Sub-Contractor under the relevant Sub-Contract provided that: the Contractor has notified the Authority of the identity of such Sub-Contractor and the proposed terms of such Sub-Contract and has provided the Authority with such other information as may be required by the Authority for the purposes of deciding whether to give its approval;
