Common use of Arbitration Witness Clause in Contracts

Arbitration Witness. The Employer agrees that if any grievance proceeds to arbitration and the Arbitration Board finds in favour of the Union or any employee, then the Employer will pay for all time lost by an employee as a result of such employee being called on to appear as a witness, providing that the Arbitration Board decides that the testimony of the witness was essential to a just and proper decision in the case.
