Architect’s and Engineer’s Certificate. The architect and the engineer for the Construction shall be subject to the Lender’s approval. In addition, the contracts with the architect and the engineer shall be subject to the Lender’s approval. A certificate from the architect and/or project engineer will be required to the effect that the Construction of the Units being built, if completed in accordance with the Plans and Specifications, will comply with all federal, state, District and local laws, statutes, ordinances, codes, regulations, rules or other laws applicable to the Construction of the applicable Unit (“Applicable Laws”). Prior to any advances for Construction costs, the Borrower shall furnish the Lender with a copy of the engineer’s license and the architect’s license.
