Assessments Against Property Sample Clauses

The "Assessments Against Property" clause establishes the responsibility of the property owner or tenant to pay any assessments, charges, or levies imposed on the property by governmental or other authorized entities. This typically includes property taxes, special assessments for local improvements, or fees for services such as utilities or maintenance. By clearly assigning the obligation to pay these assessments, the clause ensures that the property remains free from liens or penalties that could arise from nonpayment, thereby protecting the interests of both the property owner and any lenders.
