Common use of Assignment of Copyrights Clause in Contracts

Assignment of Copyrights. The Contractor assigns to the County the copyrights to all works prepared, developed, or created pursuant to this Contract, including the right to: 1) reproduce the work; 2) prepare derivative works; 3) distribute copies to the public by sale, rental, lease, or lending; 4) perform the works publicly; and
