Assignment of CSPs. The Board shall have the right to assign CSPs based on the interests of the affected student as determined by the administration. In reaching that decision the administration may consider: (1) the child’s specific educational, social, emotional and personal needs; (2) the requirements of the child’s IEP or 504 plan, if applicable; (3) the CSP’s specific training and qualifications required to adequately serve the student; (4) experience in the position; and (5) consistency serving that specific child or similarly situated children. This provision shall supersede any conflicting provision of this Agreement, including any posting and bid procedure, reduction in force or seniority provision.
