Assignment of Remaining Staff. 40 41 Following notification of non-renewal specific job assignments, school locations and transfer needs for 42 remaining staff will be determined. 43 44 The District and the Association agree that voluntary transfer is preferred over involuntary transfer. Prior 45 to involuntary transfer being affected, the District will first ask for volunteers who are willing to be 46 transferred. Employees shall have five (5) working days to request a voluntary transfer. 47 1 Any employee who is assigned to teach or serve in an area outside of his or her endorsement will not be 2 non-renewed based on teaching performance in that area and the out-of-endorsement assignment will 3 be noted on the annual evaluation as per state law.
